Now I just need to wait for the rest of it to sell and I can get a nice quality compact mixer. Maybe something of the rack-width, 16-channel variety. Something with at least inserts or direct outs. I want to be able to easily switch between multitrack I/O for recording and playback as well as using outboard gear as an effects chain for a DAW.
After the new mixer, depending on what cash is left, I might get a patchbay and a nice preamp or two. This is definitely encouraging me to take a hard look at a lot of the stuff in my studio that I haven't touched in ages. It would be worth much more in somebody else's hands if I could be using the cash value to get newer, neater things.
